View from Peace Pagoda near Pokhara 
This picture is taken from the World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara. You can see the lake Phewa Tal (Tal = Lake), that is the second largest lake in Nepal. It is roughly measuring 1.5 km by 4 km and is the center of attractions in the second most visited place in Nepal; Pokhara. From the lakeside you can have a excellent view on the mountains such as the so called Fishtail mountain and the Annapurna mountain range. |
