Khokana is a lovely village where many traditional ways of living and farming are still being found.
On this picture one can see people gathering at the end of the working day.

During the ancient Khokana festival (held in August) youths from 9 localities compete with each other to capture a female sacrificial goat, which is being thrown into a pond, with the belief that whoever succeeds will ensure a prosperous year ahead for their locality.
